The Gang has done its best to dodge any meaningful changes throughout It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s 17 seasons, but Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson have taken a much different approach in their personal lives.
The TV power couple’s new Variety feature went viral on Twitter this week, with fans of the long-running series wondering whether the pair’s notably wrinkle-free looks were the product of questionable photo editing or, as one account put it, “his-n-hers plastic surgery addictions.” “I love Kaitlin so much but she genuinely looks like an entirely different person,” a fan commented, while another recounted their double-take upon seeing the photos. “I truly didn’t know who I was looking at omg,” they joked.
John Mulaney has also become unrecognizable over the past few years, transforming from a clean-cut, good-guy comedian to a late-night host who physically fought three children on Netflix. Mulaney reflected on his career 180 during the most recent installment of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, explaining just how much he’s changed over the past few years. “They are so young, they are not even aware of my old public persona!” he said of his pubescent combatants. “I was America’s virgin boyfriend, you see?
