The American classroom is a cavernous pit of strange smells and chaos, even if you don’t believe stories about “woke” teachers letting children use litter boxes. That’s why so many movies about teens are set there and not the 7-Eleven parking lot or Discord or wherever kids hang out these days.

It can get way weirder than the standard teen comedy fare of making out in the hallways and stoned dancing around the library, though. Kids are stabbing each other or themselves, ingesting or expelling weird stuff and straight-up boning down, and that’s not even getting into the teachers.
