Fans Catch First Glimpse of An Aged-Up Nancy Gribble in New ‘King of the Hill’ Teaser

After a 15-year hiatus, Arlen’s favorite Channel 84 news anchor is back and blonder than ever. On Wednesday afternoon, King of the Hill fans caught a first glimpse at Nancy Gribble’s new look ahead of the series’ upcoming 14th season, proving that even after a major time jump, she’s still got it, Sug.
In a teaser uploaded to Hulu’s various social media accounts, the broadcast journalist kept it casual in a dark blue and purple tracksuit, a departure from her typical pink button-down T-shirt and high-waisted jeans, while visiting the George W. Bush Library with her husband, Dale Gribble, and Hank and Peggy Hill.
Don't Miss
Unlike Hank, who was so awestruck at the sight of a commemorative baseball and a presidential pen that it magically wiped 43’s famously horrific handshake from his memory, neither Nancy nor her longtime neighbor Peggy were feeling the American spirit during their tour of the Dallas institution.
“Ugh, a baseball and a pen?” Peggy whispered as the tour group headed to another section of the museum. “Maybe there’s a letter opener I can use to kill myself.”
Considering John Redcorn and his healing abilities were nowhere to be found, Nancy clearly wasn’t ready to take on the headache of wandering through W’s shrine without her best pal. “Don’t you dare kill yourself and leave me here, Peggy Hill!” she fired back.
The second of two teasers released ahead of King of the Hill’s August 4th premiere date (the first, a Father’s Day-themed slot celebrating Hank, hit social media on Sunday), we’re sure to see more of Nancy in the coming weeks. But until then, we’re glad that the former beauty queen is just as sassy and stunning as she was during the show’s initial run — no tobacco-sponsored facelift necessary.
